An experienced professional in talent representation, Ryan Ly came to his current role as principal of Curate Entertainment following four years as the head of the television literary department at Creative Artists Agency in Los Angeles. During this time, he represented more than 500 prominent clients, whom he placed on scripted series for cable, network, and streaming service platforms. Each year, Ryan Ly supported his clients in generating millions in packaging fee and agency transactional commissions.
Ryan Ly took on his department head position in 2013, when he also accepted the title of agency partner. He became the youngest professional in the company's history to serve at these levels. He went on from this milestone to become one of The Hollywood Reporter's Next Gen list of prominent young executives in the entertainment industry.
Ryan Ly ultimately served CAA for a total of 12 years, having joined the agency as a trainee in its television department in 2005. He achieved full agent status in 2008 and rapidly built a client base that included Emmy, Golden Globe, and Writers Guild Award nominees. After leaving the agency in 2017, he turned his focus to his new role at Los Angeles' Curate Entertainment.
