Ryan Ly - Experienced Television Literary Agent

As a former television agent focused on literary talent, Ryan Ly drove creative innovation and revenue generation through the placement of skilled professionals. He most recently served as the head of the Television Literary Department at Creative Artists Agency LLC (CAA), where he oversaw 18 agents working in the scripted television markets of New York, Los Angeles, and London. Successful in achieving groundbreaking results in securing employment for clients, Ryan Ly also facilitated the sale of such award-winning programs as Making a Murderer from Netflix and Good Girls Revolt from Amazon.

Also personally responsible for his own client base of more than 50 prominent professionals, Ryan Ly secured millions annually for the agency through their work on profitable series. He served CAA as a literary and packaging agent for a total of nine years, having accepted his leadership role following five years of successful representation work. During this time, he represented more writers nominated for Emmy, Golden Globe, and Writers Guild of America Awards than any competing agency.

Ryan Ly initially came to CAA as a trainee in its Television Department, a role that he held for the first three years of his tenure. In preparation for his career, he studied for his BA in English and film studies at the University of Pennsylvania.
